CONSORTIUM FORMED TO PROVIDE END-TO-END TECHNOLOGY SERVICES TO SCHOOLS
Leading Virginia firms to offer new service capabilities

Richmond, Va., November 7, 2006—Eperitus, Communications Specialists of Va., Inc. (CSI), and SyCom Technologies today announced the formation of OneNetAlliance™(www.OneNetAlliance.com), a comprehensive solution provider for converged data and communications networks. The alliance integrates ultra-broadband network speeds of 100 mbps or higher with data, voice, video, media management, and presentation technologies. Clients that have taken advantage of this joint expertise provided by OneNet typically need more than telephony and Internet access to fulfill their missions.

“While the complexities of communications technologies continue to accelerate, the project delivery does not have to be more cumbersome, nor require procuring multiple vendors and artificially forcing them to work well with one another,” stated Alliance member, Chuck Swain of Eperitus. OneNet’s™ method of delivery is needed by a growing number of clients, including schools, universities, and medical organizations. One of the compelling and initial reasons for forming the alliance was to assist schools in meeting the challenges of planning and handling the increasing complexities of rapidly changing systems on one hand and equally complex procurement systems on the other. Education focused clients potentially have the most immediate and intense need for these services due to the growing number of systems serving, and the volume of end-users these systems serve.

“More of our clients have been asking for this delivery model. Our employees have enjoyed working together on many successful projects, and have proven that together they can deliver a highly-efficient solution.” said Chuck Swaim, President and CEO of Eperitus. “Based on our previous OneNet™ joint engagements, we are able to provide solutions that are on-time, on-budget, and better than traditional delivery methods.”

By engaging member companies through the OneNet™, clients will have the ability to select the goods and services they need as their projects evolve. As an example, converging data, voice, and multimedia eventually strain network resources. OneNet™ has the capability of increasing WAN speeds by 67 times that of a leased T-1 line, thereby making these converged services sustainable and robust. This innovative and groundbreaking method of streamlining procurement provides a true benefit by saving time and money. “We are not wasting energies and resources with each new job,” said Swaim. “In working this way, we can focus even more on our clients and their needs.”

“Each of the firms is best-in-class. We work together on a continual basis, and are able to bring the unified project delivery of a single company,” said Chip Sensabaugh, a principal at SyCom Technologies.

The logo represents two concepts. First, all traditional communications between individuals and organizations is converging onto a single pathway. Second, the OneNet™ will provide for all of these communications through a seamless and all-encompassing methodology that protects the client.

The OneNet™ is currently available in Virginia. Since each of the member firms already has operations in other states, it is expected that expansion to other Mid-Atlantic states and beyond will occur in 2007.
